I’m a Zimbabwean singer-songwriter based on Amsterdam. I’m a big fan of nuanced humor and empathy. I have a triple major in Film&tv, media&journalism and French literature, from the University of Cape Town (2016). I’ve also graduated with a degree in Communication Science Research from the University of Amsterdam (2023).

I moved to amsterdam on my own after my final exams in Cape Town (didn’t even wait to attend my graduation). Since then, I worked as an aupair for a family of Dutch musicians, during my gap year. I worked as a journalism intern for Zam Magazine in that time, while starting my music career (with the help of my Dutch friends who I met in Cape Town). I hosted a radio show for UCT radio prior to that, where I worked my way from the grace yard shift to hosting the lunchtime show. I’ve done research panels and fashion assignments for Tommy Hilfiger and now I gather the sample for them as a freelance qualitative researcher. I’ve also been working as a freelancer in the event and hospitality industry
